I'll ask Bill & Steven for the SQM readings, I was far too busy gawking to remember to do an NELM count ;) The NW Horizon has a noticeable light dome above Bournmouth, and there are occassional cars coming along the Military Road, though these are few and far between after midnight. The skies to the North are shielded by the ridge of chalk hills that run across the Island, so northern views are very good. East and southern horizons are very dark indeed. However unable to...

Purely visual on this outing - I wanted to test the R-200S and actually really fancied the change as far too much time spent over the laptop in the observatory this winter. Though I did have a quick try at Jupiter last night after I got back :)
