  1. Only the concentre will tell mind that’s not to say the focuser is drilled in wrong place my 200pds was similar to you looking through the concentre mine too needed pulling away from primary only a mm or so so maybe yours is the same , I would invest in a 2” concentre eyepiece ( you could have borrowed mine if you lived closer) and be prepared to move the focuser towards primary, eventually I replaced the focuser with a steeltack from Baader and whilst fitting noticed that the focuser wasn’t square to the Ota so I’d check that too ,run a long metal ruler along spider vane and eye up the edge against focuser body , mine was way off being square to focuser how I never noticed before just assumed the tube was truly round .
  2. No that’s the offset , invest in a 2” concentre eyepiece that really accurate for setting up secondary mirror.
  3. Never used backyard eos , but if it supports platesolving and you can control mount via pc then I highly recommend no more star aligning or frustration , I use APT and Astap for platesolving.
  4. Are you stars round ? If so 👍that’s good guiding
  5. Thanks for sharing stuart had a play in startools ,horrendous gradients though ,is that being caused by your flats ? didnt come out too bad though.
  6. Excellent did you use a cc , I’ve been fettling mine for a while , so added a Steeltrack focuser, autofocus unit , aperture mask and a third Ota ring , longer ota ring support bar , secondary dew heater just need a decent night , initial tests looking promising .
  7. Always let @Yoddha know as it may be a bug , and what version you were using and upgrading too . which reminds me must backup settings 👍
  8. It was nice to finally meet @Yoddha and Jst200 (jim ) apt forum member , from APT and having talked many times on Apt forum such a nice guy and enthusiastic about his product and a glimpse of features to come , met local lad YouTuber Ruzz nice chap and Hogarth in the queue another YouTuber , met up with some east midland stargazers forum members so wasn’t a bad day at all , only bought a cheblinsk meteorite for my lad .
  9. 120 sec sub 100g 10 offset using Lextreme filter on a zwo533mc osc
  10. Tbh I haven’t took much notice I’ve been using 180 sec subs using 100gain offset of 10 using a zwo533mc I will fire up my pc and check a sub .
  11. I use Deepskydad autofocus units , never used on indi but they do have indi drivers as well as Ascom , excellent units.
  12. Take her with you the hospital is literally 2 minutes away😉👍.
  13. Have you set phd2 to server mode which is in tools menu in phd2? have you configured APT for dithering choosing phd2 in Apt menu and enabling dithering, are you running an imaging plan in Apt IE choosing x amount of Exposures for x amount of time etc , is Apt connecting to mount when you press connect mount button in Apt ?
  14. I went for a zwo533mc osc mainly due to uk weather combined with a LExtreme filter really happy with the results . rosette Nebula with 9hrs of Data .
  15. I’d say the debayer exercise wasn’t very successful tbh .
  16. How long are your flats , using a zwo533mc I use 3 sec flats to get an Adu of around 25k using L-Extreme .
  17. But more data one previous was 7hrs not 9 , found another 3hrs bringing data to 10 Hrs
  18. Can only go on my experience Steve until I squared focuser up only then could I get collimation right using the concentre mind it was way off being square.
  19. @powerlord check your focuser is square to the ota first I found this out fitting a steeltrack to my 200pds no amount of collimating will fix this until it’s squared up .
  20. I do remember the willow being quiet big Pete when I visited and thinking that needs to go lol 😆
