  1. Thank you for the reply. I will try another cable, I have seen that chart before and thought I have a canon 2000d. so maybe it is the cable and I'm over thinking it.
  2. Good evening, I'm getting conflicting information that the canon 2000d dslr is and isn't compatible with the asiair plus. Zwo is even saying its compatible and then it's not. I've set my rig up after sourcing out all the different components needed to start imagine the nights sky.To my frustration my asiair plus app isn't find my main camera. Is the camera in question compatible or not? If so what are the correct settings. My setting currently are. Bulb Manual Raw only It's connected via transfer cable from camera to asiair. Thank you for any up-to-date Information
  3. Hi I can't seem to get focus with my redcat 51 and my canon 2000D dlsr. Could someone please advise Many thanks

    Hi

    Hello and welcome.
  8. I will have a look at now, and yes I don't mind investing a little into the power source because as I've grown into this hobby I've quickly realised cheap is never really an option and I don't want to cause any damage to Amy circuits etc.
  9. Hello all and merry Christmas 🎅. I've had an skywatcher heq 5 pro delivered yesterday, for the moment I would like to power it direct from my house but unsure how to do this safe so i don't damage the mount etc. In the future I'd also be looking for a portable battery set up. I know I need a 12v supply but is there anything I can use. Ie a extension lead from the house to some sort of regulator to drop it to 12v to my mount. I'm looking at a telescope but I'd be using a dslr dew straps and asiar plus. For the time being. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Regards astro
  10. Hello folks, I've got a question. If I buy a eq5 mount just standard and put a asiar plus I wouldn't need the goto function would I? Because I could use plate solving via the asiar plus? Which means I could go for the standard mount instead of the goto function??
  11. The main thing I would like to know is, what's the difference between the eq5, heq5 and the eq6r? Is it payload mainly? I understand the rowan belt mod on the eq5 but would that apply to all 3 mounts or is it solely the eq5. I don't want to buy a mount only to find out I've got to shell out more on mod that are really a must. I don't mind spending money along as I'm fully aware what I'm spending it on and can justify it, could anyone suggest a alternative mount ideally a goto mount? Thanks astro
  12. WolfieGlos thank you for your feedback some interesting information there, also ONIKKINEN same to you, good information for me and cheers guys appreciated Astro
  13. Thank you for help, that sort of explains where I've gone wrong. Would you be referring to the 135 mm samyang? I've been looking at this lens for a couple of months now, but I've got my eye also on the redcat 51 which would take me in a different direction and away from lenses regarding my rig. At the moment my mount choice is either a heq5 goto or the eq6r undecided because I'd like the rowen belt mod on the heq5 from the research I've done a pure feed back it's a must. I could live with a standard dslr and a red cat 51 for a while, until I decided to get a zwo astro camera. Thank you once again for the information Astro
