  1. Again mushy seeing this morning but managed a few runs on Jupiter at around 27 degs with ganymede on the limb! C9 skyris 236m x 1.5 barlow original capture size. Thanks for looking!
  2. Well done for getting out there, we cannot expect to much at this early stage a reasonable capture never the less!
  3. Cheers Pete. Thanks again for the positive comments everyone!
  4. Nice images Neil, you did well for the conditions low elevation not really helping either, some nice detail coming through on Jupiter at this early stage & also a very tidy Saturn!
  5. Guess thats why its called lucky imaging Neil 😄. Cheers Martyn it can only get better also thanks to everyone for the positive comments!
  6. Conditions were poor this morning but Saturn the most stable planet by far, transparency on Jupiter was bad but is to be expected at such low elevation with daylight fast approaching! Had ago at Mars but had to take it through a gap in a bush to even get on it 😬 but still pleased with this mornings work! Images taken with a C9 & skyris 236m camera at x1.5 amplification!
  7. Nice work Neil some lovely detail showing!
  8. Nice work Martyn a great comparison, agreed these new cams are so sensitive in the near ir the 685nm filter does not seem to benifit as much, some nice banding on the rrgb on the 290m image. Best images ive seen on here at this early stage of the showing.
  9. The Saturn shot not to shabby for bad seeing & Jupiter to boot, well done Neil things will get better!
  10. Well done for getting out there & you got a reasonable result well done!
  11. Hi Neil glad to be out there again, i did not expect much this morning to be honest but helps me remember how to process again 😄. Maybe a couple of weeks for Jupiter from my location, i could move the set up but would rather wait because where i am is sort of semi permanent! Not in opposition to including ir Neil ive seen good results attained using it but false colour as you know can be a problem!
  12. My first image of Saturn this year in poor to average conditions before daylight kicked in, ir is the way to go at the moment i think but prefer not to include it in the mix, its my own personal preference so have presented on its own, you can see how much more detail its bringing out at this early stage! Images taken with a C9 & skyris 236m x 1.5 amplification - 12% upscaled!
  13. Very Nice, what i would give to be imaging at that elevation!
  14. A good result this early on Neil from your well proven scope, im sorting out my rig for the forth coming onsllaught of the planets this season, but maybe a few weeks yet due to my imaging window!

  22. Cheers Neil its been a while, amazing how much you forget on the processing front, must get out more regular!
  23. First images in six months or so, but with the moon being so nicely placed thought id blow the cobwebs of my scope! The bay of rainbows always one of my favourite targets never fails to please, clavius & the south limb also! Images taken with a C9 - skyris - 236m - Ir 685 filter at around 5m & descaled for effect. Thanks for looking!
