  1. A very nice Saturn especially for 127 scope well done!
  2. Splendid detail on display Neil, the storms also showing up well in the southern region, nice work!
  3. Hi martyn a good outcome for the conditions, still bringing out some good detail on Jupiter, & Saturn fairing even better, it was a difficult morning as i lost Saturn all together to cloud! Again Martyn well done & nicely processed!
  4. well done on your captures kon, Jupiters showing some good detail recently as you observed but the cloud issue is a real pain at least in my neck of the woods, this game as never been easy but persistence usually pays off in the end!
  5. Thanks Kon appreciated! Cheers Neil came out better than i thought, it was never going to take any harsh processing so went very light on the sharpening, it nulls the detail somewhat but does not destroy the image, to much and the games up as you know, sometimes the less is more approach is the way to go i think!
  6. Image taken through a thin layer of cloud this morning but with stable seeing, its a real shame this happens but we cannot have everything can we 😉. Taken with a C9 skyris 236m 1.5 x barlow.
  7. Lovely captures Neil very nicely done indeed!
  8. A very nice image there Neil like the soft processing too, showing plenty of good detail around the belts well done!
  9. Well done on your 1st session this season Pete, its similar to what ive been getting apart from one decent session when both saturn & Jupiter were quite stable! As i said to Neil in an earlier post i binned all my data from the 15th & 16th maybe im getting just lazy in my old age but experience tells me theres no point in pushing bad data!
  10. A good image in spite of the conditions Neil, too cloudy here im afraid, i binned all mine from the 15th & 16th due to poor transparency due to persistent thin cloud cover, hopefully better conditions will return soon!
  11. I agree Neil, its always worth more cautious processing sometimes but its a fine result & nicely done, will we ever be happy with our images thoe. 😉
  12. Nice work plenty off good detail showing!
  13. I agree Neil natural is right up my street as you know, always something going on with Jupiter thats what makes it so interesting! lovely set of detailed images btw!
  14. Nice Smooth mars shots Martyn.
  15. Another couple of good captures Neil, love the Jupiter lots of detail showing also very nicely processed!
  16. Very nice indeed Martyn lovely Jupiter but the saturn image especially good, the cassini shows clear all the way around this is where aperture helping clearly along with the good seeing! Again great work & nicely processed too!
  17. Cheers Martyn appreciated, you have to take advantage of the steady seeing as its very rare here in the uk!
  18. Decent set there some nice tidy Saturns too. 👍
  19. Cheers Neil having good conditions makes a change doesn't it i had a few issues with my hand controller last night which took up a lot of time so only the one reasonable Jupiter run! Yeah Martyn was out as far as i know so may have some decent data too, i will look forward to viewing it.
  20. Thanks im not using an adc because i would be grossly over sampling if i did, the adc needs to be placed between the barlow & the camera it would be almost of the chip resolution wise. Its a shame really because it can tighten up even mono images if set correctly so its stays in the box!
  21. Better seeing this morning especially Saturn steady as a rock here. Thanks for looking! C9 - 236m x1.5 amplification - Saturn upscale 15% Jupiter 5%.
  22. You can clearly see you had the better seeing i had this morning, cracking shots Neil!
  23. A very respectable Saturn there Neil some lovely detail in the banding & full marks for getting out there at such a foolish hour 😄.
  24. I agree Neil very nicely detailed indeed you nailed the best of the seeing towards daylight it seems, well done!
  25. Hi Neil its still very low at the moment dont think it will iimprove a great deal untill it climbs out of the mirk but will soon be reaching around 38 degs elevation so looking positive for the coming months!
