    2" eps are brilliant for wide field of view (f.o.v.) but expensive and heavy. you need to consider balance of your scope and how good your focuser is as well

    you can make your own controller. go on ebay and ssearch for pwm, they just switch the voltage off and on on a timer. around £5 each @Ships and Stars kendrick secondary heaters are the best. fitted one to my 20" 😀

    correct gerry. i wrapped a aluminum cylinder around the inside of the tube. and screwed it to the outer tube. no problems after that 😁

    m42 green. the veil a lovely shade of maroon with a oiii and of course the ring is green,blue and red love it
