  1. I agree ... Back it goes!. i know that's a hassle. But you shall never be of what damage has been done!
  2. As always funds become tight. Astro sales to follow (don't you just hate cars when they go horribly wrong!). So I'm venturing into vintage lens astro imaging!. feels like a fun journey currently.. not looking for Hubble results here, just an alternative style of imaging. Anyhow grabbed two bargain lens's. Takumar 70-150mm Zoom & Dianon 200mm f4.5 Zoom with 2 x Tele converter. So lets see where this goes!

Also great fun sharing info & chatting with Charl (xteemchaos) another vintage lens user in our SGL family.

  5. The 75 is better than an EQ5 as it has metal bearings on both axis. This means it can carry 13kg the same as the bresser EXOS2. I'd save and pop the SW goto on there. Regards Rob
  6. I've pondered a wood tripod for some time now. even more so with the beast (Bresser 127L) I own. I'm thiking of making some replacement wood legs for my EQ5 1.75 Steel leg tripod as an upgrade. Have many of you done this?. Best
