Picked this up used,and in really mint condition,and every thing working as it should........apart from the cloud blaster it came with

Very nice, I used to have one of those before I made the mistake of "upgrading" to the 10" without fully appreciating the difference in size and weight.

I'm sure you're going to love it if this cloud ever clears.

Finally got a chance to use this scope,i have never owned a GOTO before so this was something new.I was never interested in a computerised scope but  though i would give it a go.

After setting up, i put the scope in Alt mode as i dont have a wedge,after playing around with it it was quite a simple procedure of a two star alingment,and to my surprise after entering an object on the hand controller it slewed and bang on in the eyepiece it was there.and again onother messier,amazing bang on center.

Optics seem to be good but will test them better another time.

I have never tried imaging,so stuck the camera on the scope and was very surpriesd at what i got.I know its nothing but its my first ever.

I am going to have a lot of fun with this scope.

Great scope. Around Christmas is a good time to pick up some bargains in the 'high end' gear. I am keeping my fingers crossed on an LX90. (I am missing my C8 Ultima which I should never have sold)

Lovely looking scope and great first pic. I should warn you that from what I've read on here this imaging lark is very addictive and gets pricey very quickly! Think I'll stick to my pencils for the time being...

I dont think i will go down the ap route,still like old school sketching,much cheaper and less complicated,Greg i have a big piece of good old camping mat,does tbe job.I wil look forward to see the planetary views,if it is anything like the lx10 i had i wont be disappointed

Camping mat does the job nicely Paul. Jupiter should look the biz over the coming weeks in the LX. I was out early in the morning during the past week taking a peek and the belts had plenty of detail.

I just bought an LX90, unfortunately it isn't well and is being returned. The dealer doesn't have another so I have negotiated a deal on an LX 200, which should be here in a few days.

That's also a fantastic first picture.

You will love the lx 200 mate,i am really enjoying it,especially the goto.
