geppetto
Been out playing for half an hour before the mist gets here.Blown the dust off my Skywatcher 130mm F5 reflector and took a 3 minute exposureof M45.Nikon 54000 afocal 40mm eyepiece and Baader moon/skyglow filter.Again, the filter has earned it's keep by removing 90% of the orange skyglow 8)

Gordon G
I don't normally like afocal pics, but i have to say credit where credit is due, that works really well you may have just shifted my narrow minded opinion a little !Good Pic, well framed.Best RegardsGordon
Kaptain Klevtsov
The alignment and tracking look spot on Phil. Great job mate.Captain Chaos
dazza1639
Excellent! it put my attempt last night to shame, I don't think the EQ1 with the variable RA motor on my Skyhawk 1145 is up to the job. My image was very shaky.

barkis
Afocal photography is not an easy configutation to work with, but you do quite good with it Phil. That is a very nicely framed shot of 45. My days of SLR imaging were mostly Prime Focus, or Barlow projection. The only afocals were of the planets. The odd good one, but mostly mediocre to say the least. Its nice to see someone making it work. Good Man.
