A Better Bubble

Recommended Posts

I managed to add another 50mins to the Bubble tonight but its still wet, wet, wet...high level vapour clouds making the sky look very bright especially with the full moon tonight... :glasses1:

Business trip next week so no more imaging for two weeks...:)

have now added some pictures of my setup and the sky conditions which are very bright due to the Moon and the moisture.

Your telescope looks gorgeous...

Olly

Yes this telescope is a real work of art and I'll never part with it... I love Taks and see that you also have one, the build quality is simply superb and they perform excellently as well.

All in all I have 4 of these beauties since I worked in Japan for nearly 3.5 years. My favorite shop is Starbase in Akihabara. However, the FS102SNV was brought secondhand here in the Netherlands.

I know exactly what you mean, it like some astronomical joke thats being played on us...

Still I'll see you soon as SGL6, not long to go now.

Great image Neil, lovely field of view! Can't wait until the bad weather clears, but the clouds only vanish here when the moon is out :)

Take care mate!

Matt.

Well this as me in a quandery now...I bought the camera as an XE but the guy told me that he bought it as an XME. The mirror for the guide chip was missing and he had it serviced at SBIG who replaced the mirror etc at which point they updated the serial and model code?

I dont care if its an XE or XME but I'm starting to wonder? he might be right after all?

Lovely work Neil, great s/n to build on what was already an excellent image

Thanks for the great comments guys. As for the setup pictures I plan to take more of these in the future instead of giving the boaring transparency seeing qualitive data!!! At lease you can see my setup and get a better idea of my imaging conditions...

Imaging with anything other than H Alpha was a waste of time since the sky was too bright with moon light
