Andrew INT
Hello and a warm welcome. Two of my sisters live over in the US, so I get the odd cheap holiday )I'd give a big thumbs up to Stellarium. You can even download extra bolt-on tools to show space hardware or the field of view through your own set-up.I use it to control my HEQ5 mount- which is a joy )

Demonperformer
Welcome to the forum, RickyAnyone know of any free online resources for sky maps and such ?If you prefer an online resource that can be printed, check out the Tri-atlas at JR's website on Deep Sky Astronomy You can select the scale and faintness to suit your situation/equipment and then print out the pages you require as you need them. Gradually build up an entire sky atlas that way.
