Deep Rosette Nebula in 3 hour Ha

Another old target, this time with the ED80 and QHY9 + filters.

Managed to grab 3 and a bit hours of Ha on the old Rosette Nebula under a very bright moon and not too bad seeing conditions.

So 3hours 15mins of Ha 8nm in 15 min subs unbinned using the Skywatcher ED80 II Pro.

Guided off axis with QHY5, PHD and EQ6 Pro mount.

A quick process, ready for some colour to be added at a later date when Mr Moon has gone to bed.

Great photo- must get hold of a H-alpha narrowband filter next year. Trouble is I want one big enough to cover standard camera lenses!!
