Hi,

I stumbled across this forum about a month or so ago and thought I'd join and introduce myself.

I've had a passing interest in Astronomy ever since visiting the London Planetarium when I was a kid. I've only used binoculars in the past but a couple of weeks ago after reading various reviews took the plunge and bought my first scope. Last week I was blown away when I saw Saturn's rings for the first time and last night I managed to see the Ring Nebula in Lyra, amazing!

This is a fantastic site for getting advice, gaining knowledge and discovering new things. Many thanks.
