I'm sooo excited I have just ordered from the lovely Steve at FLO the Skyliner 200P dob . Being delivered on Monday in case you haven't already guessed!

Hi Lepus - agree - 8" dob is a great choice and I have no doubt you will have some stunning images in front of your eyes anytime soon (if it wasn't for the cloud cover that any new equipment provokes)

It just means tells us about the first time you use your scope, just things like how you got on, what did you look at etc.

If you have a really good viewing site have a look at the so-called "realm of galaxies" in the Leo, Virgo and Coma Bernice area.

Bet its cloudy on monday though. Flo deliver em with every piece of kit they sell. D:

You did right with FLO. Great company.

Download Stellarium and find M42 in Orion - that should be your first target, once it is properly dark!!! It won't be long before it starts to set in the early evening, then you'll have to wait until the late Autumn again to see it.
