Do you use cosmetic hot/cold pixel removal in DSS when your stacking?

Looks like an ideal target fro piggybacking when i have to do the "boring" joining middle pane for something I am playing about with...

Thanks, I couldn't work it out, as I get nowehere near that FOV with my ED80, and my 50mm is much wider. Makes sense now - very good. Do you use a filter with the Canon, if so, which?

Thats is nice Guy. I was gonna have a go at that myself, I believe the FOV of the ZS66, WO 0.8x reducer and 1000d is big enough for that, according to Starry Night anyway.

That is a stunner!! We all work on trying to get every bit of nebulosity we can, that is one of the criteria for a quality image. You haven't picked up much at all really with your short subs and low overall exposure time and yet this image shows that less can definitely be more. The framing of the wide field of view is perfect. The stars really have a chance to show themselves. This picture acutally looks like a beautiful ha enhanced starry night.
