m45 with whispy neb

I had a go at m45 now there is no moon to contend with and tried 8min subs.

3hour3mins worth.

It was slightly misty and that shows but it's the best I have acheived of this target so far.

There is 3 hours worth of 8 min subs through my Revelation 80 with a sky watcher 2" LP filter on a modified canon 350d.

Stacked in DSS with equivalent darks, 40 flats and bias.

tweaked in photoshop3 using Noels actions and minor adjustments with levels and curves.

I think I can improve on the red gradient but I was keen to post my initial results.

I used photoshop.

I dicovered if you go to levels (ctrl L)then at the bottom of the levels window that appears you see 3 pippettes, if you hover over the one to the left it's responsible for setting the black point, select it then click on the red blight or there abouts and it magicly turns black
