Sorry guys, another M42 / Running Man

Sorry, I know this area of sky gets photographed more than Katie Price but I've been waiting all year to bag one of these shots. Now I have the ED80 I can get the FOV I needed. I dont think any other DSO is more enjoyable to photograph than this.

30x 25 secs (For the Core)

16x300 secs

Darks taken on the fly, Bias and Flats

400D using CLS Filter Clip, ED80

Guided with PHD

Captured, processed with ImagesPlus

Combined and tweaked in PS

Very nice image, one of these days I might try this subject. Don't apologise for posting an image of one of the most popular objects in the heavens, it is always refreshing to see different variations on a theme and I bet you didn't need to use silicon to get your lovely picture:)
