I think it was Tony, or maybe MikeP who first showed me this beautiful double star at Kelling last year.

It is one of those targets that is more impressive visually, but last night while the wind was howling, it was about all I could manage, even 3 second subs were streaking all over with the wind! It did calm down later.

I dropped a wire frame over the front of the MN190 for this to get real diffraction spikes. It was also a short and sweet test of bright colourful stars in LRGB mode, I have to say, they are a hell of a lot simpler with a one shot colour camera

Very nicely captured Tim it's a lovely sight in the eyepiece I have the 12" dob out for a change looking at the Moon, Jupiter and Albireo etc.

It is a LOT easier with a OSC, but of course the scale difference is huge. Probably a colour H9 would do a nice job at f10 on a big sct
