Cocoon and dustlane widefield.

LRGB in the Tak FSQ85 with Atik 4000.

Lum 2 hours, colours an hour apiece, no binning. (Starfield is too tightly packed in my view.)

I aim to shoot lum for the Cocoon itself in the five inch, not only to make a closer up pic but to apply to this one to boost the res. It'll not be till next week though 'cos the other mount is tied up.

That Tak is an awesome scope. Loving this image alot and can really see the dark dust lanes quite clearly. Amazes me the amount of dust up there in that sky

Lovely colour and detail in the neb as well, even at this size.

My 'other' mount is tied up too with the bank manager and wifey show off

That is a real beauty Olly you have framed it perfectly the star colours are gorgeous and the nebula is spot on. I think that is your best yet
