Saturn tonight

Decided to test the 8" F6 mounted on the CG5 mount tonight.

Did a quick setup and took lots of AVI's of Saturn.

The mount performed well and despite the seeing being variable,

I got some decent results

Just been having a look myself with the 120 f5 2x barlow and 10mm ep, and the seeing is good here, although there is still a lot of twilight about. Saturn is clear but Jupiter is all over the place.

Good image there Philip, the scope delivers good results.

excellent results on saturn Mate using just 200 frames you have really captured it well bet you are pretty chuffed I certainly would be well done mate

Gonna look through the AVI's and pick out the best frames to do another process.

Might get a bit sharper image, something to play with whilst its cloudy.
