Amazing Dave. Great stars!

I love these bits:

Stunning detail - so much better than the usual big blue blob - like what I have achieved :(

Love the billowy brown clouds of dust against the red reflection nebula. Great capture.

Whilst the Esprit100 and GT71 were busy capturing the wide field view the Esprit150ASI294 was focussed on the Horsehead and Flame...  here's the result of that data combined with data from 2019 and 2021 taken through the Esprit150 with an SX46... in total it adds up to 5 hrs per channel RGB plus 14 hours luminance over the Horsehead and rather less at the edges as this is a mosaic. Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop..  with BXT and SXT used to control the stars.  No Ha in this one.

Thanks again for looking

I love the first one, especially in its rendition of the dust (and I agree with  tooth_dr about the refreshingly different framing. In the second one I feel the colour has gone out of kilter, especially the Flame which has lost its unusual orange-yellow.

Thanks Olly...   on reflection you're right :)  ... here it is with I believe better colour (blended in from the wide field image).   interestingly the wide field colour was from a colour camera (ASI2600mc) rather than the mono I did through the E150..  I wonder if the lack of colour in the Flame is due to the large spectral gap between my red and green filters?
