South Wales Astronomy Group (SWAG) Star Party Autumn 2023

There will be a impromtu Star Party at Pencelli Caravan & Camping Park the weekend of Fri 13th - Sun 15th October 2023.

If you wish to attend, please contact the park direct (by phone is best) and book your preferred pitch.

Remember to mention you are with the astronomy group, and you will be put on a suitable pitch near other members.

When you book please post here your pitch number and days attending. Thanks.

Just booked my usual Pitch 13 in The Oaks section, from 13th, leaving on the 16th. I may come earlier, or stay later depending on the weather.

 

The campsite has now got new electrical pitches in the Meadow Section.

I haven't had much inspiration to Observe for awhile now, and as we've sold the caravan Dorothy doesn't really fancy a tenting adventure, lol; but we do look forward to coming up for a visit to see old friends and meet other forum members. 🙂

I booked online & requested pitch 5. Did you book by phone? Maybe they didn't allocate pitch 5 to me.

I just booked for the star party from friday 13th for 3 nights - booked online and wasn't given a pitch number, but we are in the Orchard in gold coloured campervan reg YJ68EHH

Hoping to bring a small goto scope plus binos and for clear skies!!
