Ags
For clarity it is not mine, it is the KELT exoplanet survey - the two installations discovered 26 exoplanets. Just proof that aperture rules, but the mice will play!
Vroobel
No, it's not a CB radio. 😏 I envied our fellow @Ratlet the idea and finally came to a decision. I'm going to enter the modern designing of PCB. The quality soldering station is the first step. Edited September 23 by Vroobel
Sunshine
Finally! it only took six months but my TOA130 cap arrived for my FS128!. It fits perfectly and I don’t have to add a fifty pound counterweight on when I remove the original. Speaking of the original, I put it in my garage for safe keeping. 7

robbie c
Well it wasn’t the postman all I seem to get from him are mostly brown envelopes, but a nice delivery man brought me this so very pleased 😁

Great stuff. @FLO sourced one for me for my FS128 but it came in Tak green to match, much to my surprise. Nice little Tak sticker on it too. The original manhole one, can I say that, had long since departed my OTA John
Ratlet
One flattener and one reducer for the 102ED. Now to figure out how to attach them! Think I've figured it out: Need an m63 male to m54 for the reducer And and m54 female to m48 male to go from the m63 to the flattener. Also m48 female to M42 male for the other end to the camera. I've got stacks of m48 adapters. Or I could just save my money and use the nose piece... Edited September 25 by Ratlet

Martyn87
Well if this isn't a glowing endorsement for these lenses, I don't know what is! Mine is the 200mm f4.5, and it's outside at the moment imaging the veil, soon to move the Pleiades once it comes into view. Interested to see how it comes out!

My 135mm takumars isn't perfect, but I'd wager you'd need to spend at least an order of magnitude more to beat it by much.

Captain Scarlet
I finally got around to collecting my Vixen HR 3.4 (thanks @Stu) and some Newtonian-fettling hardware (thanks @Emperor!Takahashi!). I could’ve used the Vixen last night actually! Will be interesting to compare to the Delos 3.5. Magnus
MalcolmP
My latest Soligor from ebay, a 135mm f2.8 for £4.99+3.50pp ! It and its leatherette pouch, look pristine and unused, all I need now are some stars to try it out on to compare with my '69 original. On 28/09/2024 at 20:19, Ratlet said: I love vintage glass. bosun21
Postal delivery today of "Another" Svbony 3-8mm zoom. I sold the previous ones I bought due to not getting on with the short eye relief. I'm going to persevere with this one and want it mostly for my refractors.

bosun21
Just delivered and tested this afternoon was my HEQ5 mount. All tested and home position set. I will be ordering a Rowan upgrade kit this week from FLO along with a pinion extractor once I measure which size I require. It's a good bit lighter than my AZ-EQ6.

I am thinking that the HR may just come out on top by a really small margin. Please post your findings Magnus when you find the time with a clear sky. Thanks 👍.
