Calcium II K, 12th July 2023. 125mm Achromatic refractor + Lunt B1800 Cak module.  2x barlow lens with Zwo Asi 178mm camera. Artificial colour added in photoshop.  Software used, Autostakker3, ImPPG and Photoshop CS2.

My first ever solar image.

i borrowed a Lunt 60 from my local astro  club.  Mounted on an AzGti with a ZWO 120mm.

captured around 2mins of video and stacked using AS7 and Registax

This morning did not look much different to be honest, but there were a few gaps, so i set up in hope rather than expectation. 

Very pleased with the end result though, some very nice detail in AR3413 and the Granulation.

The big scope this morning C9.25, 200mm homemade Baader filter, Asi174mm, Continuum filter and X3 Barlow.

60 seconds SER files, stacked 5% in AS3, processed in REG6 and C/S2 to colourise.

2ND image from this mornings unexpected imaging opportunity.

Very pleased with the end result, some very nice detail in AR3415 Spot and the Granulation.
