Hi There,

Just getting into this whole astrophotography thing, I've been taking nature and macro photos for many years but am increasingly turning my gaze to the night sky.

Based in Lytham St Anne's on the UK's north west coast, I've had a few goes at moderately long exposures and stacking of images from a static tripod but I have just got myself my first EQ mount (star-adventurer GTi) to try and enable myself to start looking at deep sky objects.  I use a micro 4/3 mirrorless camera and am intrigued to see how far I can go with the camera and lenses I already have before moving on to specific astrophotography cameras and telescopes... it may go well... it may not..
