Flashing Diamond shaped Ring has me stumped...

Hello.  This is my first post as I felt the need to share my pictures and observation with others more experienced than myself when it comes to things in the sky. 

Ultimately as exciting as an alien space craft or a portal to another world/ dimension may seem... I'm sure there is another explanation to my observation.

Two nights ago a very bright twinkling light caught my attention.  I thought it may be a star but the other stars in the sky were not nearly as bright or colorful.  I noticed the twinkling light included many different colors that changed rapidly. 

At this point in time I picked up my cell phone to document what I was seeing.   I took many still pictures in an attempt to record the color variations.

As you can see from the pictures and video that this object has a consistent shape that looks like a hollow diamond.   This light sat still in the sky and I did not witness movement.   All movement you see is from me breathing while holding my camera.  I attempted to record and document the following night but the object was not there. 

I work on a platform in the Gulf of Mexico that is stationary so observing the same area of the sky is easy to do. 

Hopefully there is an easy explanation here but it's definitely got my imagination going.

All pictures and video were recorded using a Samsung S21 Ultra cellphone.   10x optical zoom, 30x and 100x digital zoom for the close up shots.

The images are out of focus, this is the reason for the doughnut shape. Without knowing the direction and time the photos were taken it is not possible to know which star this is.

I did my best with what I had to document.  Was nearly due East of my location and early morning  just after 3:00am CST

The star was probably Sirius which is noted for its twinkling. Your can confirm the star's identity by using a mobile star chart app such Stellarium or Sky Safari.

Bluewalker3 a satellite with a huge reflective surface was launched recently, but I’ve not seen any reports of people seeing it and it would be travelling north/south(?)

I know there's mention of no movement but the frequency of flashing looks reminiscent of a drone.
