As James pointed out, this is the old natural versus detailed debate, this one is visually more exciting more detailed more contrasty, but it does suffer a little from these processing extras. the first looks more natural. more like the moon in the sky i think.

its a very fine line processing. you have done a good job, its a nice shot either way, but its still interesting to talk about these things.

Often it boils down to taste. But i have to admit im on the natural camp, I like both, but like the first more for reasons stated. What about a processing job in between these two, then i would have to think hard if you see what i mean.

Yes im obsessed by these things in my own work , so is james, And i think its a good thing. The finer things always are
