Fine, clear, large white X right on terminator now, quarter way up.

Yep I am on it also.  Very sharp and steady at 159x .  It will certainly take more but I have to view Jupiter before it goes behind the bungalow

The only thing that is large and white at the moment are the clouds, although more like grey. Would be nice if they cleared to let me have a look at this! Thanks for the heads up, and enjoy it! 👍👍

When I looked at scope nights around 2 pm, was meant to have a clear patch from 9-12 tonight. Now back to business as usual.....

Thanks for the heads-up! It's visible even in my 10x50s if I hold them steady enough.

It's a great night to observe the Moon: two reasonably bright stars are occulted later this evening: τ1 Aqr (+5.7) and τ2 Aqr (+4.1).

Rain stopped after I'd packed up, so set up again - AR102S Frac, not difficult!  Got the X at x150, nice.  Then some doubles near the Double Cluster, and now - in for a meal and a little red. 😉

Not a bad little session after all.  At the moment, you've to grab even the briefest of opportunities!

Just popped the Heritage 150p out quickly. Looks like I missed the X at its best, can still see it but it is now fully in the terminator so not as obvious. Seeing is pretty ropey cos I’m viewing through cloud! The V is looking good still though, thanks for the heads up 👍👍
