Hi all,

Well after a few reigstration issues (Cheers for sorting that out Ant!) we made it.... I bought my wife a Celestron Nexstar 6SE back in August and have had some great nights viewing which has got me hooked. One thing has lead to another and as a keen photographer im now dipping my toe into the world of Astrophotography. I decided to start on something easy and took my first shot of the moon the other evening (single image not stacked) Im still trying to get my head around the whole workflow and cant wait to experiment, no doubt i/we will be looking for advice over the coming weeks and months!

I look forward to seeing you progress with the moon - check out out Lunar Imaging section to see some of the images taken with all sorts of kit (some stacked some not).

You'll have a blast with the moon.
