Hi Everyone,

I'm Mark I come from Aldershot in hampshire and after having an interest in astronomy for the last twenty years I've bitten the bullet and bought a telescope. I've four areas that interest me the most, astrophotography, spectrography, radio astronomy and neutron stars. I'm starting a an OU course in March which I hope to lead onto a degree in cosmology? we'll have to wait and see on that one.

Anyway nice to be here, I'm a Unix / Linux Engineer by trade so any Unix type question I hope I can provided something back.
