Hi all, here is a TMB/ST10 version of the most famous area in all astro imaging together with a wider version courtesy of the ST10 and Tak FSQ. Must do something about my colour perception or, as has already been suggested, (thanks Rog!) do it all in mono.

Fabulous images Dennis. The colour is dead right on my screen. (pssst, dont listen to Rog, do EVERYTHING in colour :( )

Please tell me you have fabulous skies :D

It'd be great if you could include the exposure details, and we love the gory details about darks, flats, bias etc.

Cheers

thanks guys, if only there was more time to do these properly rather than having to rush everything.

Psychobilly, well spotted. The bright line shows two things. 1) I posted the wrong image, the other version was properly cleaned up. 2) it is an ST10 blooming spike which was moderate in Ha, biggish in G and 'kin enormous in B.

TJ, from memory the Ha subs were 5m the others probably 3m because of the blooming. All dark subtracted. the wide view was with the FSQ and used flats, not good ones though, and the close up was with the 152mm TMB and just used darks.

Total exposure was about 120m for the wide and 590m for the close up.
