One of those lonely, overlooked, sleep in a shop doorway clusters so I thought I would say hello to it before the clouds rolled in. 15x2mins, ISO800 prime focus.

Thanks LB and Steve. I've been having a look at some of the rarer clusters in terms of images here, I have a list of a few to do. I'm quite fond of clusters, both open and glob.

Nice shot Dave, like the star colours

Ta George, I bring them out using wavelets in PixInsight. Only problem is, it reduces the contrast. I haven't figured a get round for that yet. The original image which was only slightly brushed up is here before the wavelets were applied, a lot brighter as you can see. I must say though that I love this learning curve, it's wonderful when you get one of those eureka moments.

A nice image. I have not imaged may clusters myself and they never seem to image well when. This is a nicely composed image.
