Super Blue Moon!

Won't be able to catch the lunar eclipse because the moon will have set in my location by then, but I could capture this unusually bright super blue moon! A single 1/1250 sec exposure using my Nikon D50 and 127mm Mak:

Nice. :)

Shame the inhabitants of the UK can't catch this eclipse. We'll be patient and wait until July. :)

Agreed!

I have been asked to do a BBC Essex Radio interview explaining that this moon will apparently affect peoples behaviour and mood?!  They would also like to know at what time we can see it...

Obviously, I know that we will, unfortunately, not be able to see it in the UK.

It just seems to get better as I go along!

Ta,

Emil

Had an NSN Broadcast of the lunar eclipse last night from Mauna Kea in Hawaii.  Had viewers from around the world, including Reggie.  Here’s a few captures from the show.  Thanks to all who joined.

Great shots, Don. Yours were better than NASA's. Loved the NSN broadcast! Sharing this experience with people around the world was very special :hello2:
