Other eye protection

So you are observing the sun through your solar scope. 

Face anointed with sun block, head etc covered. 

How do you all protect your non-viewing eye, and any part of your viewing eye which may be vulnerable? 

Spectacle wearers who need to use specs to look, may be affected by refraction for example.

In what way are your eyes vulnerable?

I use binoviewers for solar so my answer is nothing.

No need to overthink this. Your other eye is likely looking at the ground and under no threat at all.

Seriously, as Stu writes, you’re maybe worrying too much.

p.s. I bought a tube of sunblock in 1984 ... and still have half left.

R-Sky do a big white solar viewing hood, seems ideal with an eye patch - cosplay "Assassin's Creed"

Arrrr me use da eye patCH to protect viewing eye at nigth time... only gets lifted when about to put my eye on the eyepiece.
