The Solar Chromosphere (Ca-K) - 18th April 2017

Patience was the key today! Gaps here and there and then around about 4 pm a big gap came over.

I had a devil of a job trying to get SharpCap to work this morning for the white light so downloaded FireCapture and tried that.The above was shot in the usual 6 panes and stitched in Autostitch but capture was done in FireCapture rather than SharpCap. Previous attempts to use FireCapture had yielded a max FPS of 15 which was unacceptable whereas SharpCap would give me 30. Latest version of FC though allows me to get 30 FPS
