Shot enough panes for a full disk but this is all I could rescue. All the other panes either would not stack or just looked awful. This ones not great but at least the session was not a complete loss. Skies cleared properly later but we were out by then

great Ca-k close ups mate, I nearly got some action yesterday, 2 planes crossing the sun at the sametime but wasn't qwick enough all I got was the contrails. clear skys charl.

Well captured. I have just acquired an EQ6 pier extension which means I can nab the Sun earlier in the year than previously.  Unfortunately due to a "Scandinavian High" for the foreseeable future we have nothing but grey forecast!

At least you got one nice shot. Ca-K can be a right pain to mosaic, I find. Seeing is much more problematic than in H-alpha, or even WL
