M42 and Rosette nebula with QHY163C

Hi,

Two pics taken with QHY163C ColdMOS. I like this camera :-)
It's very sensitive, with Ha 7nm filter even more than my previous QHY8L.

 

M42 (Newtonian 150/750 reflector)
70x60s
30x5s
Gain 10 Offset 70

Rosette nebula with Ha 7nm 2" filter (Tair 3s lens)
15x300s
Gain 10 Offset 70

Looks great. I guess this is the equivalent of the ASI1600MC cooled?

Is the rosetta only Ha, or did you blend with RGB (no filter)?

Its the same sensor.

Hi Wim and sorry for a very late answer...

Yes, it is the same sensor like Adam said. This is only Ha with Baader 7nm filter
