M33 EQ5 1st light

First light with my new EQ5 mount after 7 years  mainly planetary imaging with alt/az  I've entered the strange new world of the EQ and longer exposures!

This is just 26 mins @30 sec with the ST102 & ZWO ASI224MC.  Did get over 1 hour the other night but high winds spoiled the result.

Thanks guys! The most pleasing aspect of this image is the lack of amp glow which was killing my shorter exposure images with the asi224mc on the alt/az mount even when using darks but they have done the job here so it must purely be the much lower gain on the longer exposures that has made the difference.

Excellent progress Stuart and some nice detail showing with this M33. The EQ mount should make your life a lot easier for deep sky work!!
