Very much a record shot this one. Solid cloud all morning but started to see some blue patches around 1pm. Fast moving patches of dense stuff though, hazy stuff and awful mid afternoon seeing as well so I just left it shooting 1 fps at 1/250 ISO 100 for 600 frames. This is the one single frame that is anywhere near acceptable and it's nowhere near acceptable!!

Forecast says it'll be clearing some more over the next few hours but I'm not optimistic.

Very nice images John - I'm glad I'm not the only one who has to  take hundreds of frames on occasions to get anything decent!

Very good single frame. It is always a problem when the weather deals you a bad hand, but you played the hand well!
