These days the number of opportunities for observing and taking pictures is very limited. Today was one of these days so I quickly decided to gobble up my dinner and set up my star adventurer with my D7200 and a Niton 70-300ED. Getting the right exposure is a trial and error procedure but, importantly, getting a sharp image is most important. I used the mirror up function and made sure to wait for any vibration to settle before pressing the shutter on my remote for the second time. I cropped the image quite a bit. I think I have something to share with you below. Comments are most welcome!

At least you chose to eat first!  I just grabbed everything and went outside to feed the mosquitos.

Got a great image there, nice contrast....with it being over-the-top.
