Cloud Magnet - 30 Jul 2016

Tough day to do imaging today, what's new! Clouds blowing in towards the Sun from three different directions, changing direction every time I look and all at differing altitudes. Combine that with moderately poor seeing and predicting a gap becomes a joke. I did set up for Ca-k but have given up since. Still, I got a white light, which is more than I have had a in a few days. Weather should pick up a bit this week as I am back at work

great shots under bad conditions Dave, yer mate the seeing is poor, and it dont help with the spot being so small. hope we get better skys tomorrow.thanks charl.

Always nice to get something to show for your efforts.

It's amazing how often a promising blue patch gets covered by cloud before it reaches the Sun

Blimey David, I think those clouds you have must be related to my clouds .  Excellent image to get that tiny little spot so clearly.

Nice full disks Dave. I know what you mean about clouds. I got a stomach ache waiting to image between them.
