The Solar Photosphere - 23rd May

With the forecast looking promising last night I made an early start in the hope of grabbing Ca-K & WL. Woke up to sunshine but clouds arrived before I could even get set to shoot white light! Clouds did shift just before work , luckily I had left my scope setup right until the last minute!

Good catch, that AR is travelling rapidly across the disc and no replacement in sight.

Very nice disks David. It stayed sunny here all day and the seeing was very good, so had fun following the big spot all day.
