Jupiter from 9th Dec

Managed to get up early enough to image Jupiter on Tuesday. Seeing was poor however and it was difficult to find a focus.

Still trying to get used to imaging and processing in colour again with the ASI224MC after years of mono RGB.

It certainly would seem different i would also be interested to see some side by side between a mono and colour image on the same morning. Although the seeing changes so quickly this might not be possible.

It's a start Peter  ...& as you say switching to OSC is a bit different.

Being honest I really hope to see a mono with similar characteristics to the ASI224MC with a faster FPS for respective ROI's - but that'll have to wait until one comes along: in the meantime Jove & Mars will prove "interesting!"
