Pixinsight cost?

Hi, a daft question maybe, but do we pay vat on Pixinsight from the U.K...Just about to hit the buy button.

No VAT to pay if you live in the UK. I purchased PixInsight last week for 230 Euros.

I think it should be made clearer on the site, I've been putting off buying it for a year because I thought I'd have to pay tax.

Pulled the trigger yesterday after seeing this thread, there's probably a lot more people who are being put off as I was.

Sorry to ressurect this thread but when I try and purchase a PI licence I am being charged VAT. 276 euros. As soon as you select UK it adds it.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to get charged VAT from the EU country you purchase... see on their FAQ's Licensing 2.3 and the EU ruling here

I had always thought that, but the above postings suggested otherwise.

As the EU ruling came in in 2015 and these posts were also from 2015, that could suggest the change between the original posts and now?
