Sun 26.04.15, 1st light for Lunt60tha

Ive spent most of the day getting 1st light with my new Lunt60tha (tilt tuned) and I must say I am gob smacked at what this scope does.

I have loads of data but here are my first shots, taken with Imgoh mono camera and vixen lv 2x barlow.

These are test images to see if I can get proms and surface on the same settings

Very impressive. It is interesting to see how the filaprom has moved - solid cloud here

Great images Phil.

You get a real sense of the movement in 3D watching the prom come over the limb and become a filaprom. Great stuff. No sun here today.

Thanks chaps, Ive been watching that filaprom since I got the scope on friday only just got chance to image today. I couldnt have expected better conditions for a 1st light I reckon

An inverted full disc taken with a 0.5 reducer stuck on the imgoh nose piece. Its done in 2 panes because I just could not get a full disc on the chip.
