kenny k
Here's my first real go at M45,data was taken at the Galloway spring SP back in Feb.20 x 60 secs & 10 x 120 secs taken with Equinox 80ed & Cannon 60da,unguided.Stacked in DSS and tweaked in CS2,Jpeg loaded.I posted this image in Galloway SP thread but the converted image lost colour so thought i'd have another go.Just taken delivery of a TV TRF2008 FR/FF so hoping to improve images. As a novice to the dark arts all comments on how to improve most welcome.Kenny
wxsatuser
Thats turned out nicely considering the short exposure time.
Maximidius
Just like to say that you did a great job of capturing some of that fine nebulosity with such short exposures....well done
kenny k
Thanks Maximidius,Galloway in Scotland is a great place for imaging the night sky which helps with short exposures as im not guiding...yet.How are your skies in Japan ? good i hope.Kenny
Ewan
You should not be getting so much neb showing for such limited exposures, you have though so well done you.Nice, keep going.
davefrance
Nice one, thats an excellent first try. Like you I'm not guiding and got similar results with 30 x 90sec exposures. Dark skies are the key as you have said. Presume not many of those in Hastings
