Pretty cloudy here most of the day but showed signs of breaking post lunch time so I set up the white light kit more in hope than anticipation. Could see a bit of a break on SAT24 but never really produced more than a thinning of the cloud. Fortunately it was thin enough for me to just shoot through it

I am quite staggered how well this has turned out given the ghastly nature of the input data (the crop is a bit noisy but given the conditions). Due to the varying cloud levels I was literally shooting 10 frames at a time, then checking the exposure, adjusting and shooting the next 10. I ended up with 240 frames of which I gave the best 150 (in PIPP's quality estimation) to Reg 5.1 and eventually stacked 45 @ 80%.

Glad you got some Sun David, been trying to do a timelapse of the big prom between the clouds for the last hour or so, will have to give up soon as it will be too low.

Very nice, David, sweet capture of the departing spot.

I was lucky to catch something during luncheon, bit of thin cloud and contrast was poor but the seeing seemed reasonable considering, so am hopeful it will come out okay.
