The sky was blue and the seeing was awful - but 46/200 frames produced this:

(120mm Evostar Achromat / Motor driven EQ5 / Canon 1100D / Baader Solar film.

Excellent images. I assume you can use a fairly high shutter speed/low ISO photographing the sun in white light?  I  am thinking of buying a EQ5 with motors for my 127 mak and DSLR . Do you use any filters other than the baader film?

Bish - I just use the Baader film.  The ISO for these is 100 and the shutter speed was either 1/1000 or 1/1250 sec.  Have a look here: http://stargazerslounge.com/topic/153712-simple-white-light-solar-imaging/  for a tutorial.  Modesty forbids me from mentioning the author's name  .
