The Sun - 18th January 2015 in H alpha

Clear skies all afternoon so far so figured it was a shame to waste it and went back out after completing a white light image and sketch for some H alpha. At first glance the disk seemed pretty bland but the details are there to be found.

Nice images !  The Ha viewing today was fantastic, I could make out lots of interesting features / events.  Your images clarify some of those views for me earlier on. Thanks
