Superb prom from Sunday 12th Jan

Solar imaging opportunities are still at a premium at the moment so I was delighted to see a very large prom on the eastern limb Sunday morning.

The usual set up Coronado PST/DMK21au618 2,000 frames stacked around 500 in R6. fantastic amount material in-between the  main prom and the limb.

I would like to have seen it earlier to see how it developed, it just looked quite odd with huge band running parallel to the limb.

I think I got several shots of it, It did seem to shift about a bit!

Cracking image, great capture! At the moment every time I point my Coronado at the sun it seems to be asleep!

Nice prom, had a browse around the disc today but could only make out lot's of smallish ones.

Very nice, I did see it as I opted for a bit of public observing instead of imaging, but it was short lived due to thin cloud pushing in
